This mindset shift literally changed my client's life...
I asked my client this question 3 months ago and now she’s hosting Galentine’s Day brunch in her new home with all her best friends.
We were sitting across from each other at Java Moose, and I asked her, "What’s the interest rate on your car?"
Confused, she said she wasn't sure...and she had no idea why I'd asked such an out-of-the-blue question.
So I explained...When she bought her car, she wasn't worried about the interest rate, she was worried about her monthly payment. She had to stay within her budget because she had to be able to afford to pay for her car each month.
And it got me thinking about real estate. That's *exactly* how I want you to think about selling your current house and buying a new one. Think less about the rates and more about what you can afford.
Moral of the story: If you can afford a new home and are happy with the equity you have in your current home, then list your home and move.
If not, that's ok! Keep trying to put a little money away each month and wait until your next home is more affordable. I'm not going anywhere, I'll still be here ready to help you when you're ready!
